/>

The movie Intacto (2001) has a surprisingly low score at imdb.com (6.8/10.0), but Chad thinks thats because it’s one of those hate-it-or-love-it movies. I gave it an A-, which I consider a very high ranking. I recommend seeing this film, but with an alert mind. Not only is most of it in Spanish, but it is also a mind-bender. It is an ingenious twisted story about luck – those who have it and those who don’t – and a story ultimately about reconciling oneself to fate. The way the odds skyrocket exponentially with each succeeding game of chance is fascinating and tragic. These humans aren’t playing God, they’re playing at being the Devil: collecting souls and risking everything. The writer and director of the film, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, does an exceptionally nimble job doling out information throughout the movie.

71. Atonement (A-)
72. Juno (A-)
73. No Country for Old Men (A)
74. I’m Not There (B-)
75. Beowulf (B-)
76. Control (A-)
77. American Gangster (A) Saw it twice.
78. Things We Lost in the Fire (B)
79. Gone Baby Gone (A-)
80. Michael Clayton (A-)
81. We Own the Night (B)
82. Into the Wild (A-)

83. The Namesake (C+)

84. The Wire (A+) Fourth season was the best.

85. The Wire (A) Third season was as good as the first.

86. The Wire (A-) Second season was almost as good as the first.

87. Rescue Dawn (B)

88. Death Proof (A)

89. The Wire – First Season (A for another addictive HBO show)

90. Love in the Afternoon (B)

91. Broadcast News (B+)

92. Away From Her (B+)

93. Inland Empire (B)

Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth Pride and Prejudice with Kiera Knightly Grey’s Anatomy Season 1 Deadwood Season 2 Emma Mansfield Park Sense and Sensibility Beetlejuice Cars A Knight’s Tale Children of Men Pan’s Labyrinth Dreamgirls Last King of Scotland … Continue reading →

["post-963","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
