{"id":1769,"date":"2009-04-16T11:49:36","date_gmt":"2009-04-16T16:49:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/womantalk.wordpress.com\/?p=1769"},"modified":"2009-04-16T11:49:36","modified_gmt":"2009-04-16T16:49:36","slug":"crochet-your-own-woolen-soaker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.womantalk.org\/?p=1769","title":{"rendered":"Crochet Your Own Woolen Soaker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/withatangledskein.blogspot.com\/2008\/02\/little-fire-crochet-soaker-pattern.html\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_6591.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m up late finishing an art capsule or two for my spending money this month and thinking about how I am going to get my house in order before a dozen moms with toddlers in tow show up tomorrow at 10 am.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of a full cleaning, I&#8217;m thinking about just re-adjusting my attitude and being content with a less clean house.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m hosting a Crochet-Your-Own Woolen-Soaker playdate (although some are knitting stuffed animals and others are crocheting pants) and I&#8217;m hoping that it goes as well as <a href=\"\/2009\/03\/12\/a-new-low-and-a-new-high\/\" target=\"_blank\">last month<\/a> when the moms and kids were all very focused.<\/p>\n<p>The pattern I am using for the soaker is from a site called <a href=\"http:\/\/withatangledskein.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">With a Tangled Skein<\/a>. You can see the pattern <a href=\"http:\/\/withatangledskein.blogspot.com\/2008\/02\/little-fire-crochet-soaker-pattern.html\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I doubt I&#8217;ll get going on another one today as I&#8217;ll be helping other moms get started, but I&#8217;m pleased with how the first one turned out.
