After years of agonizing, this new job has helped me realize that I can’t rely on one type of pen.\u00c2\u00a0 I need a good note-taking pen (gel), a pen to stick in my pocket (clicker), a presentation note pen (fine tip roller), a presentation mark-up pen (red felt), a presentation mark-up pen to mark-up the mark-up (green felt), and I always prefer pencils (.7mm mechanical, #2 traditional) but they smudge.\u00c2\u00a0 I also keep some red and blue papermates handy and have started using two different color sharpies to label old presentation drafts.<\/p>\n
They actually have a system here they teach in training about tabbing
\ncompany filings with colored stickies:<\/p>\n
Blue for balance sheet items
\nGreen for the statement of cash flows
\nYellow for income statement items
