Intrigued by a mention of a show called “Weeds” in blueheliotrope’s blog, I did a quick search in google and came up with an article<\/a> about a show called “Who’s Afraid of San Francisco?” at the Frey Norris Gallery and Michele Pred’s “Marijuana Project.”<\/p>\n

Dur. It just occurred to me that she must be referring to the television show… sometimes my lack of a television really keeps me two steps behind national conversation. There does seem to be\u00c2\u00a0 general movement towards drug use acceptance, culturally I mean. We had a big (and popular)\u00c2\u00a0 drug show here in LA this last year. Opening night was a bit pathetic because everybody was way too sober, and walking around gaping longingly at the burbling LSD fountain (supposedly dosed with a bijillion hits of acid).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
