(I&#8217;m resisting the temptation to continue calling it Waldorf in the Woods, because I&#8217;m not actually a trained Waldorf teacher.)<\/p>\n<p>The story will be a simplified version of the Grimm&#8217;s fairy tale Star Money. (I can&#8217;t wait for next winter to do The Mitten! There was a sweet how-to article in the last <a href=\"http:\/\/www.livingcrafts.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Living Craft magazine<\/a> for making the mitten out of felt and all the animals out of wood.)<\/p>\n<p>The craft will be a felt birthday banner.<\/p>\n<p>The winter cycle songs are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Follow, follow me<br \/>\nTo the ring of the fairies<br \/>\nFollow, follow me,<br \/>\nWhere the fairies dance and sing.<\/p>\n<p>Gather with you now<br \/>\nAll the magic you can carry,<br \/>\nAs we circle \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcround the dancing fairy ring.<\/p>\n<p>Now look around<br \/>\nWe\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve made a ring<br \/>\nBy holding hands you see.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, here I am,<br \/>\nAnd there you are,<br \/>\nTogether we are we.<\/p>\n<p>1. Let me count!<br \/>\nOne (finger up) for the Frost Fairy freezing the dew<br \/>\nTwo (fingers up) for the Wee Blue Fairy, oh so cute<br \/>\nThree (fingers up) for the Mossy Elf, wrapped in wool<br \/>\nFour (fingers up) for Snowflake who never gets cold<br \/>\nFive (fingers up) for Brother Wind who blows and blows (put five fingers up to face and blow thru&#8230;.)<\/p>\n<p>One fairy runs away, two fairies fly (one finger runs, other hand shows 2 fairies flying)<\/p>\n<p>And all the others&#8230;.say good bye! (wave hands then open and shut goodbye)<\/p>\n<p>4.
