(<em>Open up circle waving clasped hands<\/em>)<br \/>\n&#8220;It&#8217;s morning, it&#8217;s morning,&#8221; she calls to her children. (<em>Cup hands around mouth to call<\/em>)<br \/>\n&#8220;It&#8217;s cloudy, it&#8217;s cloudy,&#8221; come out now to play. (<em><em>Cup hands around mouth to call<\/em><\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>Old Mother Raincloud sings out her song. (<em>Begin dancing around in circle<\/em>)<br \/>\nShe raises her billowing arms to the day. (<em>Bring waving arms up<\/em>)<br \/>\n&#8220;Leap higher, dance faster! You&#8217;re only beginning!&#8221; she calls to her children. (<em>Leaping and dancing<\/em>)<br \/>\n&#8220;Dance on, oh dance on, to the end of the day!&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0 (<em>Leaping and dancing<\/em>)<\/p>\n<p>Then Old Mother Raincloud calls out to her children, (<em><em>Cup hands around mouth to call<\/em><\/em>)<br \/>\n&#8220;The sun is returning, I fading away! (<em>Sinking slowly to the ground<\/em>)<br \/>\nYour playtime is ending, your playtime is ending.<br \/>\nReturn to me now, it&#8217;s the end of the day.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Old Mother Raincloud spreads her arms wide now. (<em>Spread arms and begin to rise slowly<\/em>)<br \/>\nStretching and reaching out into the blue. (<em>Stretching and reaching<\/em>)<br \/>\nThen the great golden sun calls out to her children<br \/>\nThey rise from the earth like the fog, like the dew<\/p>\n<p>Old Mother Raincloud will gather her children. (<em>Move back into big joined circle<\/em>)<br \/>\nAgain she will rise at the dawn of the day. (<em>Raise arms<\/em>)<br \/>\n&#8220;It&#8217;s morning, it&#8217;s morning,&#8221; she&#8217;ll call to her children. <em><\/em><br \/>\n&#8220;It&#8217;s cloudy, it&#8217;s cloudy,&#8221; come out now to play.<br \/>\n<em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s Raining<\/strong> by Betty Jones<br \/>\nPitter patter, pitter patter, pitter patter plop! <em>(Tap thumb to fingers in rhythm, clap at &#8220;plop&#8221;)<\/em><br \/>\nPitter patter, pitter patter, outside the raindrops drop! <em>(Tap thumb to fingers in rhythm, clap at &#8220;drop&#8221;)<\/em><br \/>\nEvery little bit of rain splashes on my windowpane <em>(Tap thumb to fingers in rhythm, waving hands in windshield motion)<\/em><br \/>\nPitter patter, pitter patter, will you ever stop? <em>(Tap fingers while moving hands around body)<\/em><br \/>\nPitter patter, pitter patter, oh so many hours<em>! <em>(Tap fingers while moving hands high to low)<\/em><\/em><br \/>\nPitter patter, pitter patter, I know you&#8217;re good for flowers. <em>(Tap fingers, then cup hands; wiggle fingers of one hand upwards)<\/em><br \/>\nAnd when you come every day, you make mud for me to play <em>(Tap fingers and then stomp feet)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Pitter patter, pitter patter, come again with welcome showers! <em>(Tap fingers, lift arms to sky)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Great Blue Heron<\/strong><br \/>\n<em><\/em>One leg raised to greet the sun.
