We started on level terrain and checked out local attractions by Wall Street Mill and then headed right into the boulders. We lunched at Willow Hole and headed out in\u00c2\u00a0 a different direction. We saw lots of rock art and got back to our cars as the sun was touching the horizon. It was quite a day of scrambling and gorgeous vistas. Yowza &#8211; a\u00c2\u00a0 good ten-miler.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2647.jpg\" \/> Bill Keyes carved this marker while doing his time in prison. He sounds awful proud doesn&#8217;t he?<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2655.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Wall Street Mill &#8211; the first settlers here were mining for gold.<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">Car carcass. <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2657.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2659.jpg\" \/> Impossible for me to capture the majestic scope of the horizon on my point-and-shoot.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2664.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Coyote remains?<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">Every time we got to a view like this, Ann the hike leader would point to a\u00c2\u00a0 distant boulder and say: That&#8217;s where we&#8217;re headed.<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2665.jpg\" align=\"right\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2672.jpg\" \/> A quick break to check out some rock art.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2675.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\">Adolescent-sized hand prints.<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2679.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i108.photobucket.com\/albums\/n18\/womantalk\/IMG_2682.jpg\" \/> Again, impossible to show the sheer massiveness of this rock face.
