  70. Intacto
  71. The movie Intacto (2001) has a surprisingly low score at imdb.com (6.8/10.0), but Chad thinks thats because it’s one of those hate-it-or-love-it movies. I gave it an A-, which I consider a very high ranking. I recommend seeing this film, but with an alert mind. Not only is most of it in Spanish, but it is also a mind-bender. It is an ingenious twisted story about luck – those who have it and those who don’t – and a story ultimately about reconciling oneself to fate. The way the odds skyrocket exponentially with each succeeding game of chance is fascinating and tragic. These humans aren’t playing God, they’re playing at being the Devil: collecting souls and risking everything. The writer and director of the film, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, does an exceptionally nimble job doling out information throughout the movie.
