Sometimes it’s just freaky being Korean. There was article in the NYTimes about Korea’s 5 million dollar video gaming industry – and how one million of the fifty million people living in Korea visit a “PC bang” (gaming room, pronounced PC bahng) a day. I guess the biggest video game is called Starcraft. Here is a quote from a gaming star, Lim Yo-Hwan, apparently it’s hard for him to go out in public because fans pursue him and non-stop post pics of him in real time:

“It’s hard because I can’t maintain my relationships with friends,” he added. “In terms of dating, the relationships just don’t work out. So personally there are losses, but I don’t regret it because it was my choice to become a pro gamer.”
