I missed this show of American comic strip art when it was in L.A.. so I am relieved to see that it will be in NYC when I am there. The show is split into two parts: pre-World War and post-War at the Newark Museum and the Jewish Museum, respectively, until January 28, 2007.
It got a nice write-up in the NYTimes.
