Hirshhorn podcasts

Just catching up on a bit of Janet Cardiff research and came upon the Hirshhorn Museum’s free podcast archive. It’s great way to hear artists’ speak about their own work – and most of the lectures are podcasted as well. Cardiff normally speaks about her work in terms of jumping off or being related to technology and sound as sculpture – but I am exploring one the unexpected subtexts: how viewers/listeners fall into a one-to-one intimate connection with Cardiff’s character or voice. She says that she’s had stalkers!
