Intrigued by a mention of a show called “Weeds” in blueheliotrope’s blog, I did a quick search in google and came up with an article about a show called “Who’s Afraid of San Francisco?” at the Frey Norris Gallery and Michele Pred’s “Marijuana Project.”

Dur. It just occurred to me that she must be referring to the television show… sometimes my lack of a television really keeps me two steps behind national conversation. There does seem to be general movement towards drug use acceptance, culturally I mean. We had a big (and popular) drug show here in LA this last year. Opening night was a bit pathetic because everybody was way too sober, and walking around gaping longingly at the burbling LSD fountain (supposedly dosed with a bijillion hits of acid).
