Tea for when you are sick

This tea recipe comes to me from my dear friend Darlene. I would’ve been drinking it this weekend, but I have been too discombulated from my head cold to remember it until now. Plus I haven’t been to the grocery store since before Thanksgiving – and that was on the east coast – you have to have the fresh lemons. Bella won’t go near it, but this tea is my best friend in times of unhealth.

2 tsp lemon (I quarter and squeeze one whole lemon)

2 tsp vinegar

2 tsp honey/maple syrup

2 tsp olive oil

2 tsp cayenne

2 c hot water

That’ll teach ya.

P.S. Sometimes when I’m ambitious, I boil some roughly chopped fresh ginger and use the ginger tea to make the Sick Tea.
